academic achievements and co-curricular activities (CCA)

let's talk about CCAs!

I currently do not have a cca in poly. But when I was in secondary school, I was in the Girl's brigade (GB). Throughout the four years that i have spent in that cca, I have learnt many things, such as the importance of teamwork, resilience, diligence and initiative. Many afternoons after school were spent on CCA sessions to polish our drills, doing badgework and bonding as a company. The experiences GB has provided me made me grow as a person. From our devotion sessions to outdoor activities for badgework and camps, everything had left a positive impact on my perspective of life. Many projects were submitted as entries for competitions such as LGT challenge, which my group had taken part in and won silver for our work, focused on educating the public about mental health and eating disorders. We always practice about mindfulness and being compassionate people to one another. Overall, i enjoyed my years of secondary school and the once in a lifetime opportunity granted to me in the cca.

A few pictures that we have taken as a company during our time in the Girls Brigade.
